Environmental Cleanliness
Why is it important to keep the environment clean?
In the midst of hectic activity and population growth, the issue of environmental cleanliness is often marginalized. However, in my opinion, keeping the environment clean is a fundamental responsibility of every individual and has a huge impact on public health and the preservation of nature.
First, a clean environment is a key prerequisite for good public health. A dirty, garbage-filled environment harbors a variety of infectious diseases, such as dengue fever, diarrhea, and skin diseases. Dirty stagnant water becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes, and accumulated garbage attracts rats and disease-carrying insects. By keeping our homes clean, we can reduce the spread of disease and create a healthier quality of life for all residents.
Secondly, environmental cleanliness plays an important role in maintaining ecosystem balance and preserving biodiversity. Waste, especially plastic, that pollutes land and water can destroy natural habitats, harm animals and disrupt natural cycles. A clean environment supports plant growth and wildlife, which are essential for preserving the earth. In addition, a clean environment also creates a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, improving the psychological quality of life.
Based on these arguments, it is clear that keeping the environment clean is not just a duty, but a fundamental necessity. By actively participating in hygiene efforts, we not only protect ourselves from the threat of disease, but also contribute to the preservation of nature and create a better living environment for current and future generations.
